Ways to Praise Wallet Card
Both a teaching card and a personal reference!
This card will help you develop your ability to praise the children in your life. The ways to praise card will help you find just the right words to encourage the development of virtues at home, and at school.
The front lists 46 positive qualities under the six character strengths developed by the Positive Psychology movement. Their research suggests that developing these strengths will help people become happier and healthier, and I couldn’t agree more. It is an example of science and religion agreeing on the same principles for different reasons.
The back explains the importance of making praise specific and offers sample phrases that you can practice using to make your words of encouragement more effective.
Give these to friends, parents, teachers, coworkers, and bosses, but keep one for yourself as a reminder of “Ways to Praise the People You Love.”
Wallet cards are small enough to carry in your pocket. Share one to remind others that they are not alone. They are also ideal to leave on tables or hand out at events.
